One lane of A505 closed between Baldock and Royston after car hits tree

ONE lane of the A505 eastbound between Baldock and Royston is currently closed after an accident at Slip End this morning. The incident happened at 8.08 when a Vauxhall Tigra left the road and struck a tree. The woman driver, believed to be 22 and from

ONE lane of the A505 eastbound between Baldock and Royston is currently closed after an accident at Slip End this morning.

The incident happened at 8.08 when a Vauxhall Tigra left the road and struck a tree.

The woman driver, believed to be 22 and from Letchworth GC, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

The Herts Air Ambulance was called and the woman was treated by its doctor and paramedic who travelled by land ambulance with her to the hospital.
