ONE person was injured in a fire at a Royston flat on Tuesday morning.
Fire crews, from Royston, Baldock and Letchworth, and Buntingford, were called to the fire at the flat, in Shakespeare, at just after 2am on Tuesday.
Fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus, and using a hose reel and jets, brought the blaze under control. It was extinguished by 3.02am.
The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental. One person suffered minor injuries.
