A pantomime horse, a scary wolf and Scooby Doo’s mystery machine were among the unusual collection of runners taking part in a school’s sponsored laps event.
Pupils from Greneway Middle School in Royston participated in the bi-annual fancy dress sponsored laps fund-raiser last week.
A spokesman for the school said: “Blessed with fantastic weather great fun was had by all, especially by those wearing their most outlandish outfits.
“The pupils raised a fantastic amount of money which goes towards exciting personal social, and health education school projects. As always were were overwhelmed with support from parents and carers. Well done team Greneway.”
Money is still being counted up so the final total raised is not yet known.
