The line-up has been released for this year’s Baldock Festival, and the organisers think it is as meaty as ever.

Kicking off with the popular Baldock Beer Festival, this year’s entertainment will see old favourites return – such as the Street Fair, Sounds of Baldock and the classic car show – as well as new additions to the roster.

This year’s festival – which runs from April 29 to May 15 – is introducing a clutch of pub quizzes, a BMX display at Hartsfield School, a family fun disco, free gin tasting and a star gazing session.

Festival chairman Brent Copsey said: “There will be more than 60 wide ranging and different events over the two weeks and the intention is that there should be something for everyone across all sections of the local community.

“The Street Fair remains one of the main family orientated attractions as it brings the centre of Baldock to life.

“Its success relies upon participation by local organisations, businesses and charities and provides those groups with an opportunity to both promote themselves and market their wares.

“If you have not thought about booking a stall for Street Fair day, please pick up a form from the Baldock Community Centre

“Our committee welcome new ideas and support so please get in touch.”
