THREE childminders from Royston have individually received an outstanding OfSTED report which recognises quality childminding.
Kerry Buckley, Liz Perkiss, and Dawn Dixon, of Royston Rascals, Garden Walk, were judged on helping children to be healthy, helping them achieve well, and to enjoy what they do.
Kerry Buckley said: "We didn't expect to get an outstanding report because we feel as childminders an outstanding would be hard to achieve.
"However, we are very pleased and we hope to maintain the high standards achieved.
"Our aim is to provide good quality care in a homely setting."
The group meets twice a week at the Guide Hut in Garden Walk, and is currently encouraging other childminders to join.
Mrs Buckley added: "The group gives us support, the opportunity for children to meet other children, and it educates us to help us attain our high standards."
If anyone would like to join the group or would like the group to recommend them a childminder, contact Royston Rascals on 01763 231375.
