Offenders smash through car window and force open van during Royston thefts

Two vehicles were broken into.


Police are warning vehicle owners in Royston to be vigilant after recent thefts.

On Thursday, thieves smashed through the rear window of a vehicle and stole a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses in Green Street between 7.50am and 6.30pm.

In a separate incident, a Citroen van parked in Mill Road was forced open, and various power tools were stolen from inside. The theft occurred between 3pm on Saturday and 8.15am this morning.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police on 101.
