A VILLAGE nursery has been recognised for its high quality childcare in an Ofsted report.
Organisation, helping children to be healthy, and to make positive contributions were all considered to be strong aspects of Therfield Pre-school. However, helping children to achieve well and enjoy what they do was regarded as outstanding.
In her report school inspector Kerry Freshwater said: "They achieve well because staff are highly skilled and use their exceptional understanding of early years guidance."
Pre-school leader Debbie Penwill said: "My staff are dedicated and committed, and try to do more than what's required to maintain high standards.
"Our aim is to continue to work hard and get an outstanding in more areas.
