A by-election will be held for the vacant position on Royston Town Council, previously held by Labour’s Les Baker, who passed away in May.

Anyone who lives or works within a three mile radius of the town can apply.

Nomination packs are available from Royston Town Council and must be delivered by hand to The Returning Officer, Council Offices, Gernon Road, Letchworth by 4pm Friday.

The list of nominees will be published next Monday, and polling day will be held on Thursday, August 4.
