Christmas will come early this year for a lucky Royston shop that is set for a surprise cash mob in the town centre.
Shoppers will be spending £5 each in a randomly selected independent shop in Royston at noon on Saturday, December 6, but don’t leave it too late, as nominations must be received by November 30.
As part of Small Business Saturday, shops will not only be mobbed with customers, but each shopper will provide feedback on what they liked about their experience, and how it could be improved.
Clare Swarbrick and her family will be taking part this year. She said: “We should turn the spotlight on local businesses because many of them support the community in lots of different ways.”
Anyone can nominate their favourite independent shop – saying why it’s special – by going to www.facebook/RoystonCashMob.
