CHARGES will not be brought against six bouncers arrested in connection with the death of a Barrington man outside a nightclub.
William Pleasants, 23, of Barrington, lost consciousness outside The Engine Shed nightclub in Lincoln in the early hours of October 4.
He was taken to Lincolnshire County where he died three days later.
Six people, all of whom were door staff at the Engine Shed, were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident.
But a spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said today that no charges will be brought against them.
The spokesman said: "Following a detailed investigation, a file was submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service.
"The decision from CPS was that no charges should be brought and no further Police action should be taken in relation to the incident.
"An inquest into the death of Mr Pleasants will follow in due course," he added.
