A MAN hurt in an incident outside a nightclub has died.
William Pleasants, 23, from Barrington, had been in intensive care at Lincoln County Hospital after the incident in the early hours of Saturday. He died this morning (Tuesday).
A post-mortem examination was set to be carried out this afternoon.
Mr Pleasants was found unconscious outside the Engine Shed, in Ropewalk, Lincoln, after being ejected from the nightclub. He was in Lincoln visiting his sister, Charlotte, who attends university in the city.
Five men and one woman, who are door staff at the Engine Shed, were arrested and taken to Lincoln police station for questioning. They were bailed to return to the station later this month.
