ROYSTON'S new supermarket opened for the first time this morning.
General manager Colin Boyce and new store butcher, Anthony Burfield, officially opened the new Morrisons store earlier today.
Mr Boyce said: "Over the past weeks, the team has been working night and day to ensure that customers enjoy shopping, Morrisons style, from day one.
"Opening the doors and welcoming the shoppers of Royston will be the reward for all the training and preparation."

The new store will includes a "market street" collection of individual fresh food shops, such as a butcher, baker and fishmonger.
The site previously housed a Somerfield supermarket, but was brought by Morrisons earlier this year. It has been closed for two months while the firm carried out a full refit of the shop.
