ROYSTON has a new neighbourhood sergeant.
Sgt Richard Jones took over from Sgt Pete Frost earlier this month.
Previously Sgt Jones had been a neighbourhood sergeant in the Hitchin southern rural area.
He will now be overseeing the Royston Safer Neighbourhood team.
Sgt Frost said: "I'd like to thank residents for making my time here enjoyable, and especially my colleagues at the police station, and my partners from the council for their hard work and sense of humour."
