A farming industry campaign by an Orwell dairy nutrition business to raise money for breast cancer is to be relaunched this year after it raised more than £26,000 in 2016.
Thanks to the initivative by Volac, where a donation is made to charity Breast Cancer Now from each roll of a special pink film to wrap the bales in – there will be hundreds of bright pink silage bales around the country.
“This latest fantastic result highlights the generosity of the farming community and those connected with it,” said Volac product manager Jackie Bradley.
“We can’t wait to see what can be achieved in 2017.”
