As revealed exclusively in The Crow last week, the patrol car had been gathering dust in The Close, Royston, for almost a week without an officer in sight.
It was finally removed last Thursday, seven days after it first appeared.
The car's presence had left residents of The Close baffled, with Hertfordshire Police saying only that it was there for undisclosed "operational reasons.
