A MOTORIST had to be taken to hospital after a road traffic collision in Royston last night.
The elderly man, who was driving a black Skoda Fabia, sustained head injuries in the incident which happened on Barkway Road, Royston. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
Police were called to the scene at 9.50pm after a report that a car was blocking the road. No other vehicles were involved.
