Monty Python humour was brought to the packed-out audiences of Royston with Meridian School’s musical production of Spamalot over the weekend.
Performing arts and musical director Jenny Warburton said: “Yet again more than 100 students took part on stage, backstage, in the technical crew and in the band to produce a show that had audiences in uncontrollable giggles.
“Knights of the Round Table and Ladies of the Lake searched for the Grail via Camelot, Spam and the Knights of Ni – featuring a brilliant Black Knight losing his limbs!”
Director David Atkins said: “The students quickly adapted to the wonderful songs, dances and classic humour, to create a hit.”
