DETAILS of UFO sightings around Royston have been revealed after secret papers were released by the Ministry of Defence.
The documents detail all reported sightings of mysterious flying objects in the UK between 1978 and 2007.
They show that in September 2001, a triangular flying object was spotted over Royston. The witness said it "had a white light that was pulsating, and was moving North East."
Another sighting, in Duxford in April 2007, concerns around "fifty objects, each with a single orange light. They gathered, before ascending directly upwards."
An older report, from January 1986, documents "unnatural objects and occurances," which were seen in the Melbourn area.
In July last year, The Crow reported that about twenty bright lights were seen travelling at high speed in the sky near Therfield Heath.
No official explanation was offered by the Ministry of Defence or nearby Luton Airport.
