A 55-year-old man from Royston who was arrested yesterday morning in connection with the disappearance of author Helen Bailey has been released on police bail this afternoon – pending further enquiries.
Author Helen, 51, went missing with her dog Boris on April 11 – and since then extensive enquiries have been made to trace her.
The man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, disposing of a body in a manner likely to obstruct the coroner and suspicion of theft of money belonging to Ms Bailey, is due back at a Herts police station in August.
Searches at her Royston home are continuing today – but officers said searches at her property in Broadstairs, Kent, are now complete.
Police confirmed to the Crow the body of Ms Bailey has yet to be found.
