Police searching for missing Royston author Helen Bailey have arrested a man on suspicion of murder this morning.
The 51-year-old writer, who wrote When Bad Things Happen in Good Bikinis after the death of her husband John Sinfield on holiday in Barbados in 2011, was last seen walking her dog near her home in Royston on April 11 this year.
A 55-year-old man from Royston is being questioned on suspicion of murder, disposing of a body and theft of Ms Bailey’s money.
Police are currently searching her home in Royston, and a property in Broadstairs, Kent.
A spokesman confirmed that a body has not been found at this stage.
