AN APPRENTICE-style task has been undertaken by budding entrepreneurs at a Royston school.
And though Lord Sugar and his famous firing finger were not present, Year 9 business students at The Meridian School have been busy branding a new product.
The students had to come up with a design for a white T-shirt and then complete a range of primary and secondary research to see if there was a potential market for their product. They had to cost their products and work out their break-even point.
Judith Hamilton, head of business at the school, said: “The range of innovative and creative ideas that the students had in their designs was fantastic.”
