The owner of a Royston fitness centre has taken on one of the toughest challenges known to man to raise vital funds in memory of his friend.
David Ayliffe tackled the London 2 Cambridge ultramaraton challenge with wife Joanna, and Fighting Fit members Natalie Dunsden and Francis Law.
The Fighting Fit Warriors team raised more than £1,000 in the process for Against Breast Cancer in memory of close friend Isabel Meecham from Melbourn.
David said: “It was the toughest thing I have done physically and mentally since leaving the Australian army 15 years ago. With that said, it was very rewarding to finish knowing raised a shedload of money for such a worthy cause.”
