Members of the Royston and District Motorcycle Club put a smile on the face of pupils at Meldreth Manor School when they delivered piles of Christmas crackers to their door.
For the last 15 years, the crew have met at Royston Tesco before travelling through the town, sailing through Melbourn and parking up at the school.
Member Mark Coningsby said: “We’ve supported the school for decades and this is a nice way to give the school a bit of a biker boost. The residents love to see the bikes and I’m sure the staff do too.”
Earlier this year, the future of the special school looked bleak when it was recommended for closure, but it was saved by new service provider The Aurora Group.
