A care home in Meldreth is celebrating after being heralded one of the best in the region.
Families and friends staying at Maycroft Care Home in the High Street voted in their droves in the carehome.co.uk poll, meaning the home has been recognised as one of the top 20 in the East of England.
The care home held a summer cream tea afternoon in the glorious sunshine last week.
Special guest opera singer Olivia Barry performed a mini proms for the audience, with much flag waving and nostalgia.
Afterwards people enjoyed homemade scones with clotted cream and strawberries, washed down with some chilled Bucks Fizz – a much needed sunshine treat.
