Students at Melbourn Village College will be rolling up their sleeves for a charity car wash this weekend, to help raise funds for a charity expedition to Ghana.
The pupils will be washing cars at Bury Lane Farm Shop on the A10 in Melbourn on Saturday from 9.30am and Sunday from 10.30am.
Prices will be from £5 per car, depending on the size of the vehicle.
Proceeds from the car wash will go towards next year’s World Challenge trip, for which each pupil must raise £2,400.
So far the students have been bag-packing and done a 5km mud run, as well as organising cake stalls, raffles and quiz nights. They have many more events planned throughout the year.
