A NURSERY manager completed his second London marathon.
After 16 weeks of training, Matt Darby, manager and co-owner of the Wendy House Day Nursery in Shingay-cum-Wendy, completed the course in 4hr 20 min.
He raised about £1,000 for medical emergency charity Medics, because he said a lot of local charities were overlooked.
"It was a fantastic day and to raise the amount of money I did and beat last year's time made the day even more special," he said.
Children attending the nursery had their own mini-marathon last Wednesday.
They were given numbers and a medal when they had completed a course.
