A DRIVER was taken to hospital after a two-car collision in Bassingbourn.
The incident occurred at North End, Bassingbourn, at about 2pm today (Tuesday March 23) and involved a BMW and a Ford Fiesta.
Fire fighters from Royston, Cambridge, and Gamlingay, together with ambulance crews from Royston attended the scene.
The Fiesta had rolled onto its side, and the driver, an 86-year old man, had to be freed by paramedics.
He was taken by ambulance to Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge. An air ambulance was called to the scene but not required.
