A MAN died after being struck by a train at Litlington level crossing yesterday evening.
British Transport Police were called to the scene at 4.50pm, while officers from Cambridgeshire police, fire, and ambulance services were also in attendance.
The train involved was the 16.15 First Capital Connect service from Cambridge to King's Cross.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said the incident is not being treated as suspicious. The body was removed and taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
The incident caused disruption to rush hour services, but the line was re-opened at 6.15pm.
