A 31-year-old man was remanded in custody today charged with murder.
Tomas Navickas, of Ermine Close, Royston, made a short appearance at Hatfield Remand Court charged with the murder of a woman after he was arrested at his home on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old woman, whose body was found at a house in Ermine Close, has not been officially identified by police who are currently in contact with what is believed to be her family in Latvia.
Navickas did not enter a plea and will next appear at Luton Crown Court on March 30.
