A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a road collision in Ashwell, he was interviewed by police last night (Wednesday).
The incident involved a collision between a car and a cyclist at the junction of Lucas Lane and Station Road, Ashwell on May 29.
The cyclist, Carole Giovine, 46, of Station Road, Ashwell, died of her injuries at Addenbrooke's hospital.
An inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned.
The man arrested comes from Guilden Morden and has been released on bail to return to Stevenage police station on August 29.
