A man has appeared in court after being charged with GBH, robbery, possessing a knife and other offences after an alleged attack in Meldreth last week.
Terry Taylor was charged after the alleged attack on another man – who received serious, but not life-threatening injuries – last Wednesday, January 17, at about 11.20pm.
Mr Taylor – who lives in Waddelow Road in Waterbeach – is charged with criminal damage, fraud by false representation, possessing a knife in a public place, robbery, wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and theft from a shop.
The 38-year-old appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to appear at crown court at a later date, which is yet to be confirmed.
