Major fun for nursery children

Troop visit school

NURSERY school children were shaking their pom-poms when a troop of majorettes visited them last week.

The pupils from Roman Way first school’s nursery class were given a taster session by the Electralites Majorettes, who encouraged the youngsters to invent their own display in time to the music.

Rosemary Allen, nursery teacher, said: “What a wonderful opportunity the children have been given to work with such a successful local group as the Electralites. They had a fabulous time.”
