The winner of a Christmas window display competition was presented with a luxury hamper courtesy of organisers Royston Means Business.
Laura Whitford, who owns craft shop No.3 in Melbourn Street was awarded the prize for her Muppet Christmas Carol display, along with crafter Georgina Keating, who made the costumes for the muppets and designed the window.
Laura said: “Thanks to the crafters who lent us their very own muppets and to Royston Means Business who do a sterling job.”
Laura organises Royston Craft Fair once a month, and was overwhelmed when she was presented with a card and vouchers for Hush and The Bee’s Knees from stall-holders. She said: “I managed to say a few words before I broke down in tears. They’d been planning it in secret and had crafters coming to the shop when I wasn’t there to contribute. I’m still so overwhelmed - it was such a lovely thing to do.”
