In a closely contested match Manuden defeated Bassingbourn by the odd goal in five.
Manuden came into the match on the back of three big wins scoring 24 goals and it needed two smart saves from goalkeeper Alan Green to keep the score blank so it came a surprise on 10 minutes when Matthew Lovejoy gave Bassingbourn the lead.

Manuden levelled things up midway through the half but the away side were ahead again just before half time when Lovejoy netted his second.
The second half saw more of the home side attacking but good defending especially from Tom Bromilow and Hannah Hammond maintained the away side's lead.

Midway through the half the home side equalized and with about two minutes left Manuden hit the winner.
