The Love Your Neighbourhood Campaign went out with a bang as more than 100 people turned up to Coombes Community Centre in Burns Road to sample face painting, table tennis, stalls and a bouncy castle.
Community development manager Michal Siewniak said: “The event was a real success. I am delighted that so many residents including children attended and had a lot of fun.
“The project is coming to an end but it does feel like the whole campaign has benefited local communities across North Hertfordshire in number of ways and made a real different in their lives.”
The Love Your Neighbourhood campaign involved 100 days of different activities led by North Herts Centre for Voluntary Service to make a positive difference in the community.
