A LORRY driver was left shaken when his vehicle overturned on the A505 at Royston yesterday morning (Wednesday October 18).

The vehicle was travelling on the outside lane at about 8.38am, when it went over a roundabout, onto a grass verge, before colliding with a lamp-post and landing on its side.

The driver escaped unhurt, but there was, damage to the vehicle.

There were traffic delays on the A10 during the rush hour.
