Firefighters were called after a lorry caught fire on the northbound carriageway of the M11 near Duxford yesterday.
Two crews from Cambridge, along with one crew from Newport and one crew from Saffron Walden, were called at about 3.20pm.
They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 4.35pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
