There will be an opportunity to recognise the love for an animal that you care for when the Heydon centre of Wood Green create a giant heart made of candles on Valentine’s Day.

Candles, a symbol of love, will be lit in loving memory of a dear companion, or in honour of a furry friend that’s still alive.

If you would like to include your pets in the Light for Love, visit Wood Green’s Just Giving page, you need to give a pets’ name and make a suggested donation of £2 for each candle.

People are welcome to send a personal message if they would like to do so. A candle will be lit for a pet on Valentine’s Day afternoon and your dedication will be displayed on a heart shaped card at Heydon. Go to www.justgiving.com/Light-For-Love or text LIGHT to 70300 to give £2.

All money raised will go towards Heydon’s Cassie Appeal which is raising funds to build a large run for the cats at Heydon and the renovation of Heydon’s Veterinary Surgery.
