ZUMBA dance enthusiasts beat the heat to raise money for Great Ormond Street hospital in a charity dance-off.
The group got together at the Stephanie Prior school of Dancing in Royston last week, aiming to dance continuously for two hours in aid of the London children’s hospital.
Organiser Tracey Murray, from Royston, explained: “Zumba is a dance fitness programme which involves both dance and aerobic elements to music of fast and slow rhythms.
“I was extremely pleased with the turn-out and more than £800 has already been raised, with more sponsorship money still to be collected.”
