A WOMAN has raised more than £500 by taking part in a sponsored slim.
Kim Wallace has lost 2st since January 1, raising the money for Home-Start, an organisation set up to help young families.
Mrs Wallace, who followed the Weight Watchers diet, said: "It was boring, but I found it all right once you get into it.
"I was 2st over-weight and helping Home-Start gave me the incentive to do something about it."
Wendy Gypps, co-ordinator for Home-Start Royston and South Cambridgeshire, said: "Kim's magnificent amount of sponsorship is going to be put towards a potential move for Home-Start into the town centre, to offices that have disabled access and lots of space."
Mrs Wallace is now looking to set about raising £2,000 for breast cancer.
