PUPILS at a village primary school are enjoying the latest addition to their playtimes.

A new trim trail was built during half-term at Steeple Morden Primary School.

And now pupils are testing their skills as they make it from one end of the wooden structure to the other while staying off the grass beneath.

Head teacher Richard Lloyd said: "The children are very excited about it.

"The trim trail is a fun way for the children to be active and is something they can do at play times."

The pupils have been working towards raising money for the project by taking part in the Royston Fun Run for several years.

Mr Lloyd added: "We have had a lot of help from the parent-teacher association.

"Our thanks go to GlaxoSmithKlein and members of the 355th Squadran based here during the Second World War, who have given donations.
