IF you have green fingers the Royston in Bloom team is inviting you to join them in the Town Hall for another Blooms Night.

The event is on Tuesday, April 20, and admission is free with the presentation starting at 7.30 pm. Doors open at 7pm and light refreshments will be available.

Once again Country Homes and Gardens at Shepreth are sponsoring the evening, and Geoff Hales, a Cambridge based actor specialising in gardening themes, will make a presentation titled Gardeners Joy.

Mr Hales has made presentations at home and abroad and the Royston Greenfingers Club enjoyed his presentation on the Chinese Gooseberry Man last year. He is stepping in at short notice because of the cancellation of the original speaker.

Members of the Royston Greenfingers Club will be present to answer any gardening queries and to sign-up new members, and are confident that gardener or not, everybody will have a great evening.

The evening will also see the official launch of the 2010 Royston in Bloom competition with the Royston Crow being among the sponsors, with full details and entry forms available.
