Staff and customers at a Royston beauty salon raised £431 on Tuesday for a Meldreth woman with cancer so she can have fun days out with her family.
When Lysa Kemp, 32, was diagnosed with a rare form of the disease in June, her friends at Harmony Day Spa, led by owner Patricia Bielecka, organised a beauty treatment fundraiser.
£325 was raised from beauty treatments and £106 from cake sales.
“It was an emotional day,” said Patricia.
“Our customers came along and treated themselves for the good cause and we are pleased we could do this for Lysa.”
