A Royston shop owner will be hosting a themed 80s night to raise money for a local charity.
Laura Whitford will be donning her leotard and back-combing her hair in preparation for The Nicola Emmerson Trust fundraiser at Royston Football Club.
Laura, who owns No.3 Royston, said: “Fancy dress is optional – but much more fun, and there will be all of the best tunes from the decade, spot prizes and a surprise or two. So get the hair spray and leg warmers out and release your inner Bananarama or Adam Ant.”
The Nicola Emmerson Trust raises money for research into sudden cardiac death.
Tickets for the event, which will be held on September 24, are £8 and on sale in the Melbourn Street shop now.
