A recently established academy in Bassingbourn is hoping to spread the word to young people in the area who are interested in pursuing a career in beauty and holistics.

Directors Julianne Sparrow and Justina Howard-Bearder opened the doors to Elysium Salon and Private Academy in a barn late last year as they wanted to bring something to the local area that offered quality training in a small friendly environment.

The academy runs full level 2, 3 and 4 NVQ Beauty and Holistic courses, as well as short courses and workshops.

The pair have both been in the industry for more than 30 years.
