MAY I through The Crow let the voters of Palace ward know how pleased I am to have been elected their representative on North Herts District Council. I am honoured to have been elected, and I should like to place on record my thanks to each and every person who voted for me, and to all the people who gave me encouragement in the period before the election.

As a councillor, I aim to be accessible and visible and I shall be in regular touch in my ward to inform people about issues that are being discussed. I hope than anyone with local concerns feel free to contact me. My aim is to do the best I can for the town.

All Liberal Democrat local election candidates - myself, Nanya Lilley, David May, Rob Inwood, Gary Collen, George Lilley, Joan Inwood, Paul Jeray, Caroline Coates and Julie Inwood - have greatly valued the degree of support which we have been shown and on behalf of us all I should like to say thank you to our voters.

Cllr LIZ BEARDWELL
