JONNO, a Staffordshire bull terrier cross, will lose his foster home in Hitchin after Christmas because his carer has taken on a new job which doesn't leave her the time to look after him.
The four-year-old who has been with Heathlands Animal Sanctuary based in Royston for much of his life after being found as a stray is looking for a new home.
Sanctuary volunteer Sally Smith said: "He is a lovely dog who has been doing training and has come on in leaps and bounds. We are hoping to get someone who can give him a loving home, not as a Christmas present or for his image but who can look after him responsibly for his whole life."
