Were you a student at Melbourn Village College? If so, the college would like to hear from you for a new project.

They are trying to get in touch with as many past pupils as possible from all walks of life to find out where they are now and what they are doing.

Deputy principal Regina Lawrence said: “It is part of our Somebody Amazing Starts at Melbourn Village College programme to inform and inspire current students.

“It doesn’t matter whether you left the college three years ago or 30, your story is still one we want to hear.

“We are also offering alumni the chance to get involved with the college again if they want to – as mentors or by offering work experience to current students.”

Melbourn alumni include Olympic diving medallist Dan Goodfellow, Lucy Landymore, a Young Musician of the Year finalist, Harry Galloway, part of the National Youth Dance Company, and Stephanie Winiecki, a member of the Young Shakespeare Company.

For more details of how to tell your story or to get involved, contact Alison Friday on 01763 223400 or office@melbournvc.org or visit the alumni page of the website www.melbournvc.org
