CHILDREN'S author Kjartan Poskitt entertained pupils at Greneway School in Royston with a range of mathematical fun and games.
Kjartan amused Year 6 and Year 8 students over two sessions, with maths tricks and tales, jokes, music and songs.
Maths co-ordinator Jonathan Hirst said: "Kjartan was fantastic with the pupils, he got them all involved and they really enjoyed themselves.
"They laughed all the way through - the sessions were highly enjoyable.
"This is another way for building enthusiasm for a subject, as it lets the students see maths in a different light. It's good to take the subject away from the classroom and teach it in a real-life context."
Kjartan Poskitt is the author of the Murderous Maths books.
