A PHOTOGRAPHER saw irreplaceable snaps of his family stolen when thieves ransacked his garage.
Thieves also stole equipment which contained a batch of wedding photos when they raided the property, at the Green, Foxton.
Owner Gordon Baxter is appealing for anyone with information on the robbery, which happened sometime between midday on Wednesday, June 24 and 9am on Friday, June 26, to contact the police.
Mr Baxter said: "I've lost thousands of pounds worth of equipment, but the photos that have gone are really priceless.
"There were many digital images of my family, and they also took my back ups which were locked in a separate cupboard."
As well as the loss of the family shots, Mr Baxter also had a consignment of photos which he had taken at a recent wedding stolen.
"I hadn't given them to the bride and groom yet, as they were still on my computer. They've been remarkably supportive," he said.
The thieves broke a lock to gain access to the garage, and made off with many other items, including digital music equipment, bikes and a lawnmower.
Mr Baxter has been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area to try and find anyone who witnessed the crime.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police said: "At the moment we don't have any witnesses or suspects, so we would like to hear from anyone with information on this incident."
Anyone with information on the incident should contact Cambridgeshire Police on the non-emergency number, 0345 456 4564, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
